Coloratura Soprano Minju Jeong
Opera Singer in San Jose

Minju Jeong, a Korean Lyric Coloratura Soprano, succesfully debuted at San Jose with San Jose Lyric Theatre in 2023. 
She graduated from Seoul National University of bachelor's degree in vocal performance.
Then she went to the U.S. and graduated from Mannes School of Music (of The New School) in New York.

After graduating from Seoul National University, she performed as the main soloist of the opera gala concert team
hosted by the Seoul National Opera Theater in South Korea for two years in 2016-2017.
Leaving for the United States, she made her debut as The Queen of the Night from the opera The magic flute with the Steamboat Opera Theatre in Denver, Colorado in 2021 and continued her career as Lyric Coloratura soprano the following year,
playing Queen of the Night at the Chicago Summer Opera. And She moved in Silicon Valley in 2023.
When She came to the Bay area she performed as (cover)Madame. Pompeuse from 'By Georges!' with Lamplighters Opera Theatre
in San Francisco . And she performed Phyllis from the opera 'Iolanthe' with San Jose Lyric Theatre in summer 2023. i
